[Project Background]

Supporting Sustainable Water Reuse Infrastructure

Goulburn Mulwaree Council initiated upgrades to its Wastewater Treatment Plant as part of a broader Reuse Scheme designed to supply treated water for irrigation across new public parks.

The project aimed to reduce reliance on potable water while decreasing the volume of treated wastewater discharged into the Wollondilly River, improving long-term environmental outcomes for the region.

Construction of storage, pumping, and distribution infrastructure supporting the expansion of the Goulburn Reuse Scheme.

Construction of two 650kL concrete storage reservoirs

Installation of pumping station, mechanical, and electrical infrastructure

Installation of DN450 gravity feed pipeline and associated pipework systems

Testing, commissioning, automation, and SCADA integration works

Testing and commissioning of all plant infrastructure and distribution systems
