Strengthening Drought Resilience Through Recycled Water

The Southern Highlands Water Reuse Infrastructure Scheme (SHWRIS) was developed to improve drought resilience across Goulburn’s parks and sporting fields. By utilising high-quality recycled water from the wastewater treatment plant, the scheme reduces dependence on potable water while maintaining public green spaces year-round.

Killard was engaged to construct the irrigation and storage infrastructure that enables reliable recycled water distribution across the town’s recreational areas.
