Aspect Industrial Estate – Temporary Wastewater Services
Project Background
The Aspect Industrial Estate located in Kemps Creek, is the first industrial subdivision to be constructed under the new State Government SSD (State Significant Development) legislation. Covering 55Ha of land, Killard worked alongside WEM Civil to assist in the delivery the roads and infrastructure for large industrial warehouses, one of which will be the largest in the southern hemisphere covering 65,000 square metres.

- Provision for import of all required earthworks fill material required for construction and installation of the Interim Operational Pump out station (IOP).
- Excavation and placement in all classes of material.
- Installation of the fibreglass storage tank.
- Excavation, staging and backfill required for installation of the dual suction lines.
- Supply and construction of the associated sewer and electrical infrastructure works.
- Installation of associated sewer/stormwater/drainage works including, all pipes connections to existing infrastructure.
- Water/hydrostatic testing and commissioning of sewer service works.
- Connection to existing utility services to enable provision of functioning IOP.
- Compliance with Sydney Water and PCC’s Design & Civil Works Specification.
- Subgrade replacement where appropriate and directed by the Pavement Design.
- All concrete civil works.
- Survey set out to facilitate utility service works.
- QA Documentation and As-built.
Outcome / Key Features
Provision for import on tank foundation material, fill material, embankment, drain construction, scour rock, associated temporary access track work platform and pavement materials, ensuring it complies with Sydney Water/CEMP/Sub-management plans and requirement.
Installation of, the fibreglass storage tank (3.5m Dia and 26.5m long), 4 x 1050mm Dia access manways arrangements (risers and cast-iron B covers) and access anchor points.
