2011 CASPA Alliance: Coombabah The purpose of this project is to provide the installation of all buried piping requirements for the Coombabah Wastewater Treatment Plant Stage 5 Upgrade. The piping is of various sizes for water, sewer, and electrical infrastructure around the Coombabah Wastewater Treatment Plant. The scope of works includes, but is not limited to, the following: - Installation of piping in accordance with drawings and specifications
- Planning and coordination of survey requirements with the site team. Set-out from benchmarks and set-out points provided by our site survey personnel
- Temporary trench support where required
- Allowance for safe access to trenches due to inspections and placement of concrete
- Allowance to form/box and place thrust blocks on all horizontal and vertical changes in direction
- Allow to cut into manholes where required and box/pour penetrations as per drawings
- Allow to set up and support all cast in spools associated with the contract
- Install pipe supports and provide concrete plinths as per drawings
- Management of imported materials from designated delivery point on site
- Cart and stockpile excess/surplus materials to stockpile area
- Allowance for tie-ins to existing/operational plant outside of normal business hours
- Pressure testing of installed piping in accordance with drawings and specifications and AS/NZS 2566.2
